Return and Exchange Policy

At Nitaraa, we strive to ensure a seamless shopping experience for you. Please read the following policies carefully to understand our return and exchange process.

Return Policy

  1. Damaged or Tampered Packaging:

    • If you receive a product in poor condition or notice that the packaging is tampered with or damaged before delivery, please refuse to accept the package and return it to the delivery person.
    • Immediately email us at help@nitaraa.in with your Order ID, and we will issue a replacement at no additional cost.
    • Unpacking video is compulsory to raise refund or exchange requests.
  2. Important Notes for Returns:

    • Return requests will not be accepted via email, social media (Facebook/Instagram), or phone.
    • When returning the product to the courier, ensure you obtain a receipt (physical or digital). This is mandatory in case of lost shipments.
    • Refunds will be processed in the same bank account up to 3 bank working days
    • Refunds will be processed within 2–3 business days after the product reaches our warehouse.
    • Refunds will be processed only after quality checks.
    • No refund will be issued if a return request is raised but the shipment is not returned within the specified time frame. Instead, a credit note will be provided.
  3. Non-Returnable Products:

    • Products with physical damage caused by the customer.
    • Sarees were ordered with fall and edging.
    • Customized products or made-to-order items.
    • Products where a return or exchange request is made after 72 hours of delivery.

Exchange Policy

  1. Requesting an Exchange:

    • Raise an exchange request within 3 days of receiving the product through your account.
    • If you don’t have an account, create one using the email ID used during the order.
    • Once the product is picked up, we will ship the replacement within 7 working days.
  2. Conditions for Exchange:

    • Exchange is not allowed for sarees with fall and edging.
    • Customized products are not eligible for exchange.
    • An exchanged product cannot be returned or exchanged again.
    • No discounts will be applicable on exchange orders.

Store Credit Policy:

  1. The store credit will be valid for 3 months from the date of issue.
  2. Store credit must be used in a single transaction.
  3. Apply for the store credit at checkout.
  4. Once opted for store credit, you cannot switch to a refund.
